Well

Originally I had a head and torso sculpted (as shown in my WIP deviation) but since then I've completely redone the torso and am planning on redoing the head to make it more feminine. I'm new to this, so I have no methods developed, but I've been reading online and will do some experiments.

Of course, I still have teh legs and arms to do. I'm planning on using a plastic drinking straw as armature so that they remain hollow and just sculpt the legs/arms in full before cutting them and making the joints. I'll have to see how that works out.

Also, I'm probably going to buy small wooden beads and slit them for the joints. I don't know what I'm going to do about the elastic. Anyone know a type that works well?

The clothes and hair might be interesting since I'm not making the doll as big as the manufactured ones. Maybe if I try making another I'll make it to a scale I can buy things for (which will be uber fun!). I guess I'll have to make my own hair and clothes! *gulp* Can anyone link me to easy patterns/sewing guides? I've never made clothes before! D;
